Alexey Mikhaylenko


With his rich and diverse musical background, Alexey Mikhaylenko is renowned for his interdisciplinary collaborations, innovative approaches, and leading acclaimed orchestras and
projects.
Apart from his fruitful career as a solo performer and a solo clarinetist for the Estonian Festival Orchestra led by Paavo Järvi and Baltic Sea Philharmonic led by Kristjan Järvi, Alexey Mikhaylenko has collaborated as a passionate interpreter and conductor with orchestras such as Wiener Symphoniker, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the RSO Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.

His major engagements of the 2021/2022 season included a comeback to the RSO Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna with Hila Fahima and the Bel Canto program, debuts with Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria (Spain), Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), and United Soloists (Switzerland). He also performed in concerts with the Baltic Sea Philharmonic (including a
collaboration concert of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic with Jaap van Zweden), the Estonian Festival Orchestra, and chamber music concerts with Trio Variabile and Trio
Senza Brio.
In the 2022/2023 season, Mikhaylenko will have his opera debut with Bizet’s “Carmen” at the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca. He will return to the Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania) with German Requiem of Brahms. He will also tour Estonia, Finland, and South Korea with the Estonian Festival Orchestra and Paavo Järvi, as well as tour with the Baltic Sea Philharmonic as clarinetist and assistant conductor to Kristjan Järvi in Germany, Estonia, and
Switzerland.
